Financial Services Firm - Newport Beach, CA

ZoNE-X was contracted with a Financial Services Firm in Newport Beach, CA to provide on-site and remote support for their IT infrastructure.  The company was expanding its office by hiring on new staff and adding new computers.  We needed to plan and forecast process-based growth - ensuring that we wouldn't be continually fighting an uphill battle with growing staff and budget issues.

New Portability and Mobility

We were able to install and configure a LAN that allowed the laptops to connect to each other while inside the office, as well as sharing a single high-speed Internet connection.  Each staff received a top-of-the-line laptop, which would be used in the office, as well as remotely.

ZoNE-X installed and configured one of the laptops as a file sharing device, allowing the firm to keep all company data & information on a single system.  This helped us process backups in a much more efficient manner.

Laptop Maintenance & Support

ZoNE-X was also contracted to maintain the laptop computers.  With our array of support tools, we were able to setup the desktop computers one-time, secure and update, and get in tip-top performance condition.  This allowed us to remotely manage the client laptops while traveling, as well as when they were sitting in their harbor view offices enjoying the sunny weather.  We ensured that all systems were fully up-to-date with all Microsoft updates and patches.  This kept the systems running in optimal condition.

Security & Anti-virus

We also installed individual anti-virus tools as well as anti-spyware software.  This kept the traveling laptops from ever being plagued while on the road.  We were able to keep the systems running smoothly, which increased sales and communications by the staff tenfold.
